Final Boss uses local-first controls to make imported and restored records reviewable before they become trusted app data. The current build includes validation, duplicate control, imported-batch management, source verification, JSON backup, and guarded restore workflows. These controls are meant to make changes deliberate and traceable.
Validate supported files and surface duplicate or conflicting records.
Keep imported groups identifiable so the operator can review or remove them.
Preview compatibility and require confirmation before replacing local state.
A local-first product still needs protection against accidental overwrite and silent duplication.
Supported import behavior depends on the current approved format; universal spreadsheet support is not claimed here.
